On June 20, 2024, at the Classroom of the Future, “Ion Creanga” State University in Chisinau, took place the National Founders Round Table, an event organized in the context of the implementation of the Hystory Competition Project. The project has been running in Moldova since 2017 and includes activities for teachers and students. The activity was attended by representatives of the Koerber Foundation, the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova, representatives of the Local Educational Specialized Departments of Education, teachers and students participating in the competition, as well as the representatives of museums and foundations from the Republic of Moldova.
During the event were presented the data of the 4 editions of the Historical Contest, the impact of the project on the education system in the country, as well as the experiences of each actor involved in the project. An important topic of the event was to establish the perspectives and evolution of the project in the context of new partnerships for the next editions.
The project is implemented by the Institute for International Cooperation of the German Adult Education Association (DVV International) in collaboration with ANTIM – National Association of Young Historians of the Republic of Moldova, with the support of the Körber-Stiftung Foundation.
